The Flare project was attacked by a Hacker, resulting in a loss of 16.95 million USD on the BSC.
According to the latest data from the on-chain monitoring system, a project named flare encountered a security incident on the BSC chain. This incident occurred on November 13, 2022, resulting in project losses of up to $16.9597 million.
After the incident, part of the stolen funds has been transferred using anonymization tools. Another portion of the funds is stored in two specific addresses.
It is reported that the executors of this attack used a specific address to carry out the operation. The attack process involved two transaction hashes, which have been documented by security analysts.
It is worth noting that, according to the latest on-chain data analysis, attackers seem to have begun attempting to establish contact with the project team. This trend has been observed through a specific transaction hash, raising concerns in the industry about subsequent developments.
