Pre-IPOs is a digital subscription mechanism launched by Gate, providing early access to high-quality projects before an IPO. It allows users to position themselves early in potential assets prior to public market trading and capture potential upside from future market performance.

We offer two exit options for users holding positions. Before the IPO and lock-up period, Gate will provide pre-market trading, allowing users to freely trade 24/7. After the lock-up period (which may vary depending on the underlying company, as specified in the project announcement), Gate will provide a dedicated exit page, where users can convert their holdings into tokenized stocks or redeem them for USDT based on the real-time market price after the IPO.

Asset certificates are Mirror Notes issued prior to the IPO of the underlying company, designed to track and reflect the company's market value both before and after its IPO. They are structured as Contingent Payout Notes. Gate provides users with exposure aligned to the underlying company's fair market value by hedging its position through acquiring the underlying company's equity in the market, and offers multiple exit mechanisms as well as long-term holding options.

Assets in Pre-IPOs are Mirror Notes, designed to track the value of the company's common stock based on its price performance. If the company issues new shares in the future, the value per share may be diluted. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or other reclassification of its common stock, user positions will be adjusted accordingly based on the actual corporate action.
